Entanglement and optimal strings of qubits for memory channels

چکیده

We investigate the problem of enhancement of mutual information by encoding classical data into entangled input states of arbitrary length and show that while there is a threshold memory or correlation parameter beyond which entangled states outperform the separable states, resulting in a higher mutual information, this memory threshold increases toward unity as the length of the string increases. These observations imply that encoding classical data into entangled states may not enhance the classical capacity of quantum channels. In this study, we consider a composed system consisting of two identical non-interacting subsystems. Each sub-system is made of a moving qubit into a leaky cavity. The study of the dynamic of the composed system revealed that compared with the stationary qubits, entanglement, quantum discord and coherence between two moving qubits remained close to their initial values as time went by. In parti...

Entanglement verification protocols for distributed systems based on the Quantum Recursive Network Architecture

In distributed systems based on the Quantum Recursive Network Architecture, quantum channels and quantum memories are used to establish entangled quantum states between node pairs. Such systems are robust against attackers that interact with the quantum channels. Conversely, weaknesses emerge when an attacker takes full control of a node and alters the configuration of the local quantum memory,...

Adaptive recurrence quantum entanglement distillation for two-Kraus-operator channels

Quantum entanglement serves as a valuable resource for many important quantum operations. A pair of entangled qubits can be shared between two agents by first preparing a maximally entangled qubit pair at one agent, and then sending one of the qubits to the other agent through a quantum channel. In this process, the deterioration of entanglement is inevitable since the noise inherent in the cha...

Speedup of quantum evolution of multiqubit entanglement states

As is well known, quantum speed limit time (QSLT) can be used to characterize the maximal speed of evolution of quantum systems. We mainly investigate the QSLT of generalized N-qubit GHZ-type states and W-type states in the amplitude-damping channels. It is shown that, in the case N qubits coupled with independent noise channels, the QSLT of the entangled GHZ-type state is closely related to th...

Entanglement and the geometry of two qubits

We review entanglement in the context of two qubits. Equivalence under appropriate local operations leads to a representation of the notions of entangled and separable states and entanglement witnesses geometrically in 3 dimensions. The corresponding four dimensional description captures, in addition, the entanglement measure and en-tanglement distillation geometrically. We give a neat formula ...
